Airport Shuttle Service
KCI ROADRUNNER There is a shuttle service called the KCI Roadrunner that runs to and from Topeka and the airport in Kansas City on a pre-determined schedule six or seven times a day. The phone number is 1-800-747-2524 for those who want to make reservations, or reservations may be made online where you can get pricing and additional information. Althought the Capitol Plaza is not on the shuttle's published route, KCI Roadrunner will drop off and pick up at the hotel for an additional $5 charge. Please call KCI Roadrunner for particulars and to make reservations.

HEARTLAND PARK TOPEKA: Heartland Park Topeka provides top-notch entertainment for all types of racing fans. Heartland Park Topeka is a multimillion-dollar complex including a quarter-mile drag strip with 23 luxury suites, a 2.5-mile championship road course and a 3/8-mile dirt oval track. The track went through a $15-million renovation back in 2003 that added 33 garages, a state-of-the-art tech building and a new timing and scoring building for road course events.
HELEN HOCKER CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS: The Helen Hocker Center for the Performing Arts is an organization dedicated to enriching the cultural growth of our community. Quality family entertainment... positive learning experiences in a friendly atmosphere...an outlet for artistic expression for youth and adults...all are found in the Theater's special year-round programming. Family and youth musicals, dramas and comedies are offered, along with music and dance events, performing arts classes and workshops.
