Annual Meeting, Picnic & Fun Match - Mark June 25, 2011 on your calendars right now, invite your non-member Boxer friends and bring your Boxers for a day of fun at Shawnee Mission Park Shelter House #7. The days events will start at 11:00 AM with a Boxer puppy fun match (3-18 months of age, not major pointed). Following the match, we will enjoy a bountiful picnic luncheon with table service and meat entree provided by the club and prepared as always by chefs Mark Ewing & Jim Emerson. Club members are asked to bring a homemade side dish or dessert, and a beverage. Following the picnic luncheon, we will have our Annual Meeting and Election of Officers, then a brief meeting of the Board of Directors. After the meeting, we invite you to spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the great facilities and opportunities available at the park including fishing, bicycling or just walking with your Boxers and friends.
2nd Annual Running of the Dogs - Benefit for MoKan Boxer Rescue a licensed 501(c)3 organization. Join us at Waterfall Park in Independence MO (just south of Bass Pro Shop) on Sunday, July 10, 2011. All pre-registered participants will receive a T-Shirt!
5K Run/Walk begins at 7:30 AM. Enter from the 40 Hwy entrance only, and park in the Hobby Lobby parking lot. Packets and t-shirts available between 6:30 and 7:30 am at the tent in the Hobby Lobby parking lot. Then walk south to the Pavilion and starting line. Prize awarded for M&F top 3 in each age bracket.

Next Show - Our next show will be our annual designated specialty shows, held in Topeka KS in August 2011. Our first designated specialty will be on Friday, August 26, 2011 with Kay Mankins as our Sweepstakes Judge and Mrs Donna J Buxton as our Specialty Judge. Our second designated specialty will be on Saturday, August 27, 2011 with Harley Mankins as our Sweepstakes Judge and Dr Gerard C Penta as our Specialty Judge.
